Ringside With Rich

Chaotic Wrestling's biggest event of the summer, aptly named SUMMER CHAOS, comes to the Polish American Veterans Club in Lowell, MA on Friday night, August 21st with a bell time of 8 PM.

-In the Main Event, Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Champion Chase Del Monte will defend his title against the number-one contender, The Empire's "Straight Edge" Brian Fury, accompanied by "The Manager of Champions" Sean Gorman.

Fury has been unstoppable since joining The Empire and turning his back on his former CW Tag Team Championship partner, "The American Sasuke" Mikaze at Breaking Point on May 29th. Since then, Fury has amassed some big wins over the likes of former New England Champion Demon Ortiz and most recently "The Enforcer" Max Bauer to earn his shot at the title.

Del Monte, however, has tremendous momentum on his side as he is coming off a huge victory over Chaotic Wrestling Hall of Famer and Triple Crown Champion, "Hurricane" John Walters on July 24th. Since winning the title from "The Golden Greek" Alex Arion, the popular champion has turned back every challenge put in front of him.

That momentum has been put on hold as after Chase's hard-fought victory over Walters, he was ambushed by Fury who was hiding under the ring during the match. Fury attacked the champion mercilessly, injuring Del Monte's ribs in the process after a series of frog splashes on the already weakened Del Monte.

We know that Fury and Gorman will undoubtedly pull out all the stops in Brian Fury's quest to be the next Triple Crown winner in Chaotic Wrestling. This one will be a classic!

-Speaking of Gorman, he will lead his sole titlist from The Empire, Scott Reed into battle as he defends his CW New England title against "The Mighty Mini" Mark Bourne.

This will be Bourne's third shot at the title as he has been robbed on his two previous attempts. On June 26th, Reed pulled Bourne's trunks to steal the win and then on July 24th, it was the champion's illegal use of the ropes for leverage that caused Mini to lose a relatively quick match. Based on the two previous matches dubious finishes, CW Officials have deemed Bourne more than worthy of a third and final shot at SUMMER CHAOS on August 21st.

Can Bourne get it done? Will the third time be a charm? The first graduate of the Chaotic Training Center (www.chaotictc.com) is a former two-time CW Tag Team Champion, so he is certainly no stranger to gold. Hopefully, Bourne will have someone watching his back since we all know Sean Gorman will do anything to ensure his champion leaves SUMMER CHAOS with the belt.

-The Chaotic Wrestling Tag Team Championship will NOT be on the line as the current champions, Matt and Bryan Logan will join forces with their little brother, Nick to take on all three Blowout Boys, Danny E., Antonio T. and newest member, Frankie A., in a highly-anticipated Six-Man Tag Team Match.

The Blowout Boys and their manager, Alexxis, have been fuming since Danny and Antonio lost the CW Tag Team Championship to Matt and Bryan Logan in a mere 40 seconds at BREAKING POINT. Danny and Frankie challenged the Logans for the title on July 24th. As Alexxis distracted referee Mike Crockett, Antonio snuck into the ring to attack the fallen Matt Logan. To his dismay, and the surprise of everyone at the P.A.V., Nick Logan (who had not been seen in Chaotic Wrestling for nearly two years) charged the ring and stopped Antonio dead in his tracks with an inverted powerslam.

The Blowouts were so upset about Nick's surprise return that they actually asked for this six-man tag to hopefully eliminate the third Logan brother from Chaotic Wrestling completely.

We might need an extra referee to keep track of this match!

-The war between Big Rick Fuller and Brian Milonas will continue at SUMMER CHAOS when they meet in a No Disqualification Match.

Recently, Fuller defeated Milonas' personal security, Agents Starr and Magic in a Handicap Match, only to be ambushed after the match by the man campaigning for YOUR vote to be Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, Brian Milonas himself. Milonas' plan was clear as he tried to break the hand of Fuller with a steel chair to help eliminate Fuller's use of his lethal knife-edge chops to the chest.

While not fully breaking the hand, enough damage was done heading into their one-on-one match on July 24th. Both of these behemoth's tore into each other in a ringside brawl that the entire locker room was unable to stop. The referee had no choice but to declare the bout a "no contest" as the match never officially began as these two incensed warriors could not wait to get their hands on each others throats.

Hopefully, this No Disqualification Match will solve their issues at SUMMER CHAOS!

-"The Golden Greek" Alex Arion hopes to end his losing streak at SUMMER CHAOS when he squares off with one of the many who have pinned his shoulders to the mat in recent weeks, young Elia Markopoulos, in a rematch of their match on June 24th in Lowell. His manager, "The Golden Goddess" Cherry Payne is at her wit's end trying to get her man back on track.

Since losing the CW Heavyweight Championship to Chase Del Monte at COLD FURY 8 on February 6th, Arion has not been the same. Recent losses to Markopoulos and Mark Bourne have completely frustrated the former flag-bearer of this company. Just last month, Arion came up on the losing end against Demon Ortiz and refused to leave ringside.

The show needed to continue and "Hot Shot" Mike Reed made his way to the ring for his match against Elia. As Arion finally headed to the locker room, he passed by Reed, who disrespectfully bumped Arion in the aisle. Alex later returned with Payne and watched from the ringside, distracting Reed long enough for Markopoulus to pin the "Hot Shot's" shoulder to the mat for the one-two-three.

Elia definitely has the momentum on his side now that he has defeated both Arion and Reed in his last two matches. Another victory over Arion will surely put him in contention for a shot at the New England title, while another loss for Arion could render him without another title shot for some time!

-Speaking of "Hot Shot" Mike Reed, he will look to avenge his previous upset loss at the hands of Elia Markopoulos by trying to defeat Demon Ortiz.

Ortiz is the most intense competitor in Chaotic Wrestling today. Since losing the New England title back to Scott Reed at BREAKING POINT, he has been on a path of destruction and he will not let Mike Reed or any other member of the CW roster get in his way.

-Lastly, SUMMER CHAOS will be the event that will feature the long-awaited debut of the "Manliest Man" in Chaotic Wrestling today, Biff Busick. We've heard a lot from Busick in recent weeks and at SUMMER CHAOS, we'll all find out if he can back up his words.
